Design
Kathryn believes good communication between the client and the designer produces the best landscape design outcome.
The landscape design process begins with an initial meeting between the client and the designer to discuss what the client wishes to achieve.
A site analysis is undertaken, broad design options are offered, your budget is considered, time frames for the project are discussed and all the foreseeable problems of the landscape are covered including: - Access
- Drainage, retaining etc
- Functional elements - driveways, paths, paving and swimming pools
- The availability of water is another consideration and finally the plant selection
This initial consultation usually takes between 60 – 90 minutes.
After this meeting a design brief is put together and given to the client to ensure every aspect of the proposed design has been covered and to allow for any forgotten items to be added prior to plans being drawn.
A monthly maintenance guide is provided with all plans to ensure the upkeep of the garden.
